Title: It's Easier With Friends who Understand (Even if Most of you Shouldn't Actually Know Each Other)
Series: Hacker Chatter
Author: [livejournal.com profile] whogeek
Fandom: Skyfall/Covert Affairs/Mission Impossible- Ghost Protocol/The Losers/Criminal Minds/NCIS
Characters/Pairings: Q, Auggie Anderson, Benji Dunn, Jake Jensen(/Carlos "Cougar" Alvarez), Penelope Garcia, Abby Sciuto
Rating: Teen
Word Count: 738
Warnings: Q is tetchy, some all of his friends are kind of crazy.
Genre: Gen, implied slash and pre-slash
Summary: Q has a bad agent day and needs to vent.
Author's Note: So after I saw Skyfall it didn't take long before I acquired a Q as a muse. Of course, my Benji muse wandered over and they started talking tech. After several re-watchings I had the idea of a group of tech people/hackers who commiserate with each other about crazy field agents. I had some difficulties deciding which hackers to include in this group and at some point I will probably write how they ended up setting up their private, super-secure chat. And how some of them forced their way in and were never really told to leave. And thanks to [livejournal.com profile] shanachie_quill for several of the in-chat names.

Q is grumbling to himself... )

          E is Ethan Hunt
          W is William Brandt
The Phone is the phone from the end of MI4
Jensen is SupremeCommander
          C is Carlos "Cougar" Alvarez
Abby is GothGirl
Garcia is BabyGirl (even though she just gets a brief mention in this)
          S is Spencer Reid

Title: "An Interesting Effect"
Series: Mini-Vengers
Author[livejournal.com profile] whogeek
Fandom: Avengers (Mostly Movie-verse)
Characters/Pairings: Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Clint Barton, Natasha Romanoff, Bruce Banner, mentions of others.
Rating: PG-13 for Tony's vocabulary
Word Count: 1397
Warnings: Uhhh.... Cuteness? Team-y goodness? Bruce actually taking charge of things?
Genre: Gen, Silliness, Fluff?
Summary: Tony is working on something, and then it goes off, leaving himself and Steve in a rather odd situation.
Author's Note: I was going through my Avengers bookmarks and came across a Tumblr bookmark that had... well, a rather humorous drawing.  I mentioned to [livejournal.com profile] shanachie_quill that someone should write it.  And then I started writing it.  My muses are a bunch of bastards, because this is already a series in my head.

Title: "Starting Point"
Series: Nightcrawler!Greg
Author: [livejournal.com profile] whogeek
Fandom: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
Characters/Pairings: Nick Stokes/Greg Sanders, brief appearances of others
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 5987
Warnings: Mutants, Awkward Greg, Awkward Nick, Weird Kinks, Tail sex, Smut
Genre: Crossover kinda,
Summary: Greg works up the nerve to ask Nick out, and their relationship slowly grows.
Author's Notes: Seriously, I have no idea where this came from.  Greg is a Nightcrawler-like mutant, only he's green instead of blue (or red, if you're thinking of Azazel).  Mutants in this world are known and fairly well accepted, although not all mutants are blatant with their mutant abilities.  Thanks as always to [livejournal.com profile] shanachie_quill for her assistance in helping me with keeping this coherent.  Also, please be aware that the working title for this was "what the hell brain" and I only gave it a real title shortly before posting.  Take that as you will.

Title: "Home is Where the Heart Spirit Is"
Author[livejournal.com profile] whogeek
Fandom: Hawaii Five-0
Characters/Pairings: Steve/Danny, Grace, Mary
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 8842
Warnings: Sillyness, fluff, Steve is emotionally constipated, kinda-sorta-not-really character death?
Genre: Supernatural, AU, Fluff, a bit of H/C
Prompt/Summary: Steve is a SEAL who gets hurt and ends up in a coma, but his spirit leaves his body and goes back to his house. A year or so Danny Williams, newly divorced father of one moves into Steve's house and gets the crap scared out of him when a pissed off Spirit Steve makes his presence known. Cue ghostly arguments and hilarity and Danny trying to get Steve back to his actual body.
Author's Note: I finished this on my posting day, so any spelling/grammar problems are my own. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] shanachie_quill for being there for me every step of the way (again), proddng me when needed (again), and being willing to beta after I've posted (which means I'll be going back through to find whatever problems I accidentally left) who beta'd for me after I posted (so all my mistakes and extraneous commas are removed), and [livejournal.com profile] emocezi for the occasional prodding.  Also, it's really hard for me to get my muses to talk when I can't poke and prod them until they're annoyed enough that talking is less painful than continued poking.

Title: "Cannoli"
Author[livejournal.com profile] whogeek
Fandom: Hawaii Five-0
Characters/Pairings: Steve/Danny
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 1,116
Warnings: Molestation of dessert pastries. Porn.
Genre: Slash
Summary: Steve gets something special for Danny. And ends up with something special for himself, too.
Author's Note: I blame [livejournal.com profile] shanachie_quill for making the comment that cannoli are phallic. Long thin tubes full of....cream. Her words, not mine. :) And if you've never had a cannoli, I feel sorry for you. And keep in mind, the filling is very thick, somewhere between cookie dough and cream cheese. Oh, and thanks to [livejournal.com profile] shanachie_quill for her beta services. :D

Steve's been planning this for days. )

So, it has been brought to my attention that I should probably post about what's been going on in my life recently.

In the past couple weeks I finished out the semester and moved back home(3 A's, 3 C's).  Now I've been looking for a job for the summer, and having.... moderate luck?  I guess.  Well, I'm trying to find something to do over the summer, because otherwise I'll end up selling knives again, which wasn't so awesome the first time around.  But, I've had one interview today, and I've turned in several other applications at various places, so, hoping one of those works out! :D

But, anyways.... muses are kinda quiet at the moment, which is good, because I'm trying to write up my resume, which is slightly confusing and mostly annoying.

I do have several plot bunnies in my plot-bunny-hutch(yes, I had to make a hutch for them all, they were getting out of control).  So, hopefully I can get to writing some of those after I've got a job pinned down and a more stable schedule.  And hopefully my dad will get a car shortly there-after, and I'll get to use the Van.  :)

So, it is 3 something in the morning, and I'm still awake.  Fuck insomnia.  At this point, I think I'm just insane.  Which, entirely possible.  Also, I don't think I've ever written as much fanfic as I have in the last few weeks.  It seems I've found my home fandom in Hawaii Five-0.  And apparently, watching SGA and having insomnia makes my brain come up with weird fic ideas.  Involving a, gasp, horrors! self-insert of myself as, oddly enough(or maybe not oddly, but just, well, not my actual field of study) a botanist with the gene who has bouts of insomnia.  Which, kinda weird, but not.  I did consider horticulture.  But anyways.  Despite all the fandoms I've gotten into(and out of) and written for, Hawaii Five-0 has definitely kicked it into high gear.

Also, according to [livejournal.com profile] shanachie_quill , I am Joe Flanigan.  Only, shorter, stockier, with lighter hair and internal reproduction.  I kept complaining about my cowlicks being itchy, and explained that I have seven of them on my head, and if I cut it really ridiculously short, it would do pretty much the same thing that his does.  And occasionally, they make my scalp itch whenever I touch them.

**Gasp** Amazing!! My muses are actually being productive!! And this time when I blame [livejournal.com profile] jetpack_angel for it, the blame is happily given. I don't think my muses have been this busy without my adding permanent characters to the cast. Although, my throw-in to get the story started is pressing for her own storyline, and I am having to put my foot down rather hard. Also, I'm exhausted, so I'm actually going to sleep at a slightly more reasonable hour.

To muses who actually perform their jobs!!
