I would go out, except that it is what I would call "near-blizzard" conditions.  And therefore, dangerous.  Normally, I'd be out having fun, but my behind is still recuperating from Snowboarding on Monday.  I busted my ass at one point, although I am getting much better at it.

"Near-blizzard." *snerk* I wish people around here would remember, this is nothing compared to the ice storm we got around this time last year. Although... wait, you live around the same general geographic region as my brother and he got pounded pretty good by the snow, so...

Well, at least you've still got power. Last year I spent a week just basically camping indoors. No internet. Went through five novels by flashlight.

Yeah, It wasn't quite so dangerous outside that there was no way in hell to get out without being in danger of losing your way, but you had to be extremely careful about where you were walking and mind the wind. And... I do? **Tilts head** And back home, we got like, 2 inches of snow one year, and everyone panicked and went to pick up their kids, and they drove on the snow which turned it into ice. My sister got out of school an hour early, got home an hour later than normal. Some kids didn't get home. That's what happens when central NC gets snow. Panic in the streets.

I've done that at home. And probably the only reason I didn't lose power is because my campus runs on steam, and powers itself. Did that for a hurricane when my neighborhood lost power for 8 freaking days though. My family hosted a spaghetti dinner one night, because we have a gas stove, and everyone brought something. It was like a neighborhood potluck.
