It's a modeling clay called sculpey, and you bake it to harden it, but it doesn't really dry out if you leave it alone for ages. And there is a wire armature inside, so that's keeping everything upright and together.
I'm still exceptionally proud of the ears and the head in general. The detail work on the face was hard but it was actually a lot of fun to do. If I do another tiger thing, I'll probably end up just doing a head/face, because it was fun.

Also, I'm glad that fur!Mac likes it. I'm not totally satisfied with my effort, but it's a good start. And I still think the front legs are a little off.
