I am a goddamn idiot.  I had the opportunity to tell my dad about wanting to get out and leave college for a bit, and I didn't.  I want to scream and punch something, because this whole situation is absolute shit.  I don't know what I'm going to say to my parents tomorrow.  Because guess what?  They're coming to visit.  FML

*wince* As much as it may have been easier for you to tell them over the phone when you couldn't see their faces, maybe this is the best sort of news to deliver in person, so they can see how serious you are. No matter how many phone calls I had with my mom about how frustrated she was with my grades dropping, she changed her mind mid-conversation when I explained to her face that I was burning out. It's a lot more powerful that way.

Just out of curiosity, do they know about your Beast? Or is that something you don't want your parents to excessively worry about?
