 OHMYGODEXAMS!!!!!

I am seriously amazed, because it seems like the semester has flown past.  It feels like only a few weeks ago I was figuring out the best routes to take to get to classes each day, and now it's practically over.  I feel kinda totally unprepared for winter break.  Seriously.  I'm not really sure I want to spend the next few weeks at home.  I mean, I love my family, but... I dunno.  I'm just not used to spending that much time with them on a daily/weekly basis.  I kinda wish I could do what Hogwarts does, where they can sign up to stay over breaks.  I mean, I can stay over fall/thanksgiving/spring breaks, but not over winter break.  I dunno.  Maybe I'm being silly.  Probably, actually.

i know the feeling, i've been kind of coasting through this term (enjoying it and so on but y'know, not thinking too hard aabout it) and suddenly i have 6000 words to write in english, probably another 1000 in french all for early jan (but i'm away over new year), and a presentation in french as well for next week.

as for the family thing, i'm aiming to avoid as much of "xmas" as possible. religion & family are my two least favourite things!!

Oh, I've definitely enjoyed this semester, but the whole, last stretch thing is getting really stressful. And exams for me start the 8th.

I love my family, and our traditions, but.... I dunno. It just feels like too much this year.

good luck!! i don't get exams til may/june but tons of essays and some kind of unusual ones this year which makes them more difficult.

So you're free now? Free to write and read fic and read lots of books and play silly video games until you have to go back and be cooped up under your parents' roof for a couple of weeks?

*reads comments* Okay, almost free. But I'm just saying, I know how it feels. I actually kinda feel sorry for you, having to go home. I remember the last time I went to go visit my mom, and ended up being this close to a nervous breakdown by the time I got home.

Yeah, almost free. But most of the exams I actually have to take will be remarkably easy. And I'll be hanging around campus with very little to do for several days, possibly weeks if the football team wins the next playoff game.

So... think you can get around to getting that BN fic done for me? I hate to nag, but the mentally deficient waste of oxygen on overnights made a wisecrack about fucking suicide and I just... it would be really nice if something good could happen to me.

I came home about half an hour early tonight. Some days I can think about Chris and be just fine, and other days, I'll see or hear something and I just have to get the fuck out of there, go home and lock the door so I can cry.

I decided to watch Vampires Suck online since I missed it in the theater. Sure, some parts of it were funny, but I'm kinda glad I didn't go out and buy it (or even rent it). It reminded me of why I hate those spoof movies: so much of it is just dumb.

Much better to finally watch the ep of Raising Hope that I missed Tuesday. And tomorrow I think I'll have a marathon to catch up on all the NY and Miami that I've been missing.
